When I first heard this song, it was my friend Margo Cilker playing it at a bar in town and it struck me right away. I was reminded of so many things that were the last of their kind, a passenger pigeon, or a rare flower, or the last member of a family...
This song was written by Paul Burch, for his record by the same name as the song, and is the first in a series of four covers we are releasing over the summer, we really hope you enjoy!
